Job Description

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Level 5 Software Engineer/Product Owner for onsite work in Aurora, CO, focused on backlog leadership and timely delivery of high-value capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Define and prioritize the product backlog.
  • Align stakeholder goals to support delivery plans.
  • Guide development teams to deliver high-value features on schedule.

Requirements

  • Level 5 qualification: Bachelor’s degree in science with 12+ years of software development experience; or Master’s degree with 10+ years; or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Clearance: requires an active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility at time of application.
  • Java: 5+ years of professional Java development experience.
  • Strong knowledge of version control using Git and experience with workflows on GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
  • Demonstrated success working in Agile processes.
  • Experience with containerization and Kubernetes, and/or Helm charts.
  • Experience with Atlassian tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience decomposing software requirements.
  • Experience debugging code and conducting code peer reviews.
  • Ability to motivate a large Agile team supporting multiple products.
  • Ability to handle prioritization requests from multiple customers.
  • Proven history of delegation.

Compensation

  • Primary level salary range: $177,000.00 - $265,600.00 (USD) per year.
