Software Engineer

Northrop Grumman’s Space Systems Sector in Morrisville, NC is hiring Associate Software Engineers and Software Engineers to join the Ground Software Engineering group. This onsite opportunity offers a salary range of USD 70,200 - 105,400 per year, with potential relocation assistance depending on availability.

Responsibilities

You will work within Northrop Grumman’s Ground Software Engineering organization as part of a team building and supporting ground software efforts. This requisition may be filled at either level 1 or level 2 based on qualifications.

• Contribute to software engineering activities within the Space Systems Sector’s ground software work
• Apply software engineering fundamentals aligned to the role level

Requirements

• Be completing or have completed a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree from an accredited institution
• Major in (or have majored in) a STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math)
• Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a prerequisite)
• Some experience with at least one programming language: Python or C/C++
• Some experience with Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) and Object-oriented Programming (OOP)
• Experience with Microsoft Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems
• Overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
