Software Engineer - Level 2

Northrop Grumman Space Sector is seeking a Software Engineer - Level 2 to contribute to ground-segment software through design, development, documentation, refactoring, testing, and debugging as part of mission-critical programs. This onsite role is based in Morrisville, NC, with project work across Redondo Beach, CA; Aurora, CO; Fairfax, VA; and Morrisville, NC, and requires a Top Secret clearance with SCI/CI poly.

Responsibilities

• Support the program through maturation and milestones toward the mission

Requirements

• Two years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree; with a master's degree, no additional years are required; alternatively, four extra years of related experience may substitute for a degree
• Must hold an active Top Secret clearance at the time of application, and the ability and willingness to obtain SCI/CI poly
• Proficiency in C++ and Python
• Experience in Red Hat Linux environments
• Familiarity with the software design lifecycle
• Experience with Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.) and Agile development methodologies
