Job Description

As a Top-Secret cleared Cloud Developer based in Washington, DC, you will help plan and lead cloud architecture across multiple enclaves, advance DevSecOps automation, migrate applications to the cloud, and deliver data applications both on premises and in the cloud. Compensation and Location

Salary: USD 130,000 - 145,000 per year

Location: Washington, DC onsite

Work Schedule: Typically Monday through Friday, 8-hour days onsite, with flexibility within a 2-week pay period to reach 80 hours.

Responsibilities

  • Develop cloud service delivery models and an architectural framework to enable PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, and DaaS.
  • Implement automation for cloud resources following DevSecOps best practices.
  • Assess applications and recommend which platforms can move, migrate, or be deployed to a cloud environment.
  • Provide strategies for failure and recovery, cost optimization, and benefit analyses of cloud, cloud agnostic, and on-site services.
  • Develop and implement cloud applications, migrate on-premises applications to the cloud, debug cloud stacks, manage cloud service policies, evaluate new technology requests, establish a secure cloud environment, and ensure adequate availability and uptime.
  • Work independently to design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing cloud software.

Requirements

  • Experience with major cloud providers such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle, or IBM.
  • Development and deployment activities on a private/public cloud solution or a comparable high-availability environment.
  • Deploying and managing infrastructure as code with Terraform, CloudFormation, and/or Azure Resource Manager Templates.
  • Implementing and maintaining security best practices for cloud environments.
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for cloud architecture, configurations, and processes.
  • Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience.
