Job Description

Amentum is seeking a cleared UI/UX front-end developer to join our Vienna, Virginia team, supporting a federal client with enterprise cloud applications. This role emphasizes crafting intuitive interfaces and site concepts using modern front-end technologies, including Angular and Node.js, all within an Agile environment and CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Code with the latest Angular 20+ versions, Node.js, NPM, RxJS, and Bootstrap.
  • Support the integration of user interfaces with various applications.
  • Contribute to site concepts, interface design, and the architecture of enterprise applications.
  • Collaborate on designing software tools and subsystems to enable reuse and domain analysis.
  • Test, debug, and refine software to deliver the required product.
  • Enhance software to reduce operating time and improve efficiency; modify or create software to ensure cross-system integrity.
  • Develop new software and adjust existing solutions to maintain efficiency and interoperability between systems and applications.
  • Provide support in developing the site concept, interface design, and architecture of the website.

Requirements

  • TS/SCI clearance or SCI eligibility with willingness to obtain a polygraph.
  • Bachelor’s degree plus at least 3 years of experience as a dedicated Web Software Developer.
  • Familiarity with HTTP and RESTful communication.
  • Understanding of Swagger.
  • Familiarity with Claude or other AI interfaces.
  • Experience with Playwright testing framework and Angular unit tests.
  • Experience with design tools such as Adobe or Sketch for wireframes and prototypes.
  • Understanding of user research methodologies to gather insights about user needs.
  • Ability to create wireframes and interactive prototypes.
  • Basic proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Hands-on experience with Angular 20+, Node.js, NPM, RxJS, and Bootstrap.
