Front-End Developer

Join an Employee Technology Platform Solutions team in Charlotte, NC to modernize frontend frameworks and strengthen accessibility across enterprise web applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy responsive, high-performance web applications using React and current frontend patterns
• Update and extend an enterprise frontend application framework with HTML semantic structure and accessible UI behaviors for inclusive user experiences
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and product stakeholders to apply inclusive design principles and meet accessibility requirements
• Participate in story refinement, help define requirements, and support estimation activities
• Implement frontend solutions driven by acceptance criteria and validate work with unit tests
• Support quality and release readiness by contributing to integration, regression, and performance test suites
• Analyze test reports, triage root causes, and document deployment or maintenance details

Requirements

• 5–7 years of front-end development experience with strong React expertise, including Redux, React Router, and Hooks
• Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, and JSON
• Ability to build and maintain API-based architecture on the frontend
• Deep understanding of WCAG aligned accessibility requirements, including AA/AAA standards
• Practical knowledge of semantic HTML, ARIA roles, keyboard navigation, and screen reader behavior
• Experience with automated and manual accessibility testing tools in environments with strict accessibility standards
• Agile experience using Jira, plus comfort with Git/Bitbucket source control and clear communication to technical and non-technical audiences
