Frontend Developer

Amatriot Group, LLC is hiring a Frontend Developer in Chantilly, VA (onsite) to build enterprise-ready user interfaces and help teams deliver secure, high-performing applications. This role combines scalable frontend engineering with strong UI component practices, accessibility and performance focus, and collaboration across engineering and delivery workflows.

Salary: $123,000 - $168,000 per year. Job type: Full-Time. Security clearance: Active TS or higher (required).

What you’ll do

• Translate designs and business requirements into scalable frontend solutions for enterprise application needs.
• Design, build, and maintain intuitive user interfaces that align with product requirements.
• Create and maintain reusable UI components to support consistent experiences across the application.
• Optimize application performance and improve delivery readiness for end users.
• Ensure accessibility and cross-platform compatibility in frontend implementations.
• Apply secure software development practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Mentor developers and contribute to continuous improvement of frontend development processes.
• Collaborate across teams to support enterprise application requirements, including UI and integration needs.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (required).
• Minimum 8 years of experience (required).
• Strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, or similar (required).
• Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and responsive design principles (required).
• Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services (required).
• Knowledge of accessibility standards, performance optimization, and secure coding practices (required).
• Experience with Git, automated testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines (required).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills (required).
• Active TS or higher clearance (required).

Technologies and environment

You will work across a modern stack including React, Angular, Vue, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, and integration with RESTful APIs. The environment also includes Git, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and JFrog Artifactory, along with AWS Cloud Services.

Backend and data integration technologies in scope include .NET C#, MySQL, Elasticsearch / OpenSearch, Postgres, Microsoft SQL, plus Python-based ETL components such as RabbitMQ, Celery, and Redis / Valkey. The role also includes integration of reasoning components, retrieval systems, databases, and AI / GenAI services.

Additional focus areas (from the project needs)

• Frontend application requirements include Angular and .NET C# alongside database support such as MySQL and Elasticsearch / OpenSearch.
• ETL and data workflows include Python, RabbitMQ, Celery, and Redis / Valkey, with schema-aligned ingestion, normalization, and end-to-end data lineage tracking.
• The infrastructure includes an in-house custom-developed application with end-user UI and ETL UI, supported by Kubernetes and Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, JFrog Artifactory, and AWS Cloud Services.
