Job Description

This role supports the SENTINEL web application with .NET Core and C#, delivering secure, enterprise grade solutions. Responsibilities

  • Build innovative software features for the SENTINEL platform using C#
  • Maintain and extend current SENTINEL capabilities
  • Collaborate on design and architectural decisions for new features and components
  • Develop enterprise web applications with .NET Core, Razor Pages, dependency injection, Web APIs, and HTTP interactions
  • Work with EF Core, Code First, Migrations, and LINQ to handle SQL Server data operations (insert, query, update, delete)
  • Daily use of Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio to fix defects and implement new features
  • Daily use of Azure DevOps and Git for source control and team collaboration
  • Apply solid SQL Server and relational database concepts to create, modify, and remove database objects
  • Diagnose and resolve database performance issues
  • Demonstrate strong JavaScript development capabilities
  • Implement AJAX interactions, form validation, DOM manipulation, and client-side interactivity
  • Style applications with CSS and UI frameworks like Bootstrap 5 to deliver consistent, visually appealing interfaces
  • Collaborate across the software development lifecycle with developers, analysts, and stakeholders
  • Mentor junior developers and share knowledge as appropriate

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field with 12 years of relevant experience, including some experience within the last 2 years, or Bachelor’s degree with 14 years of relevant experience, or Associate degree with 16 years of relevant experience, or High school diploma with 20 years of relevant experience
  • Security Plus certification
  • 10+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on .NET technologies
  • .NET Core expertise with practical development experience
  • Exceptional C# programming skills and solid object oriented design knowledge
  • Extensive experience with EF Core, Code First, Migrations, and SQL Server
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern front end technologies including Bootstrap
  • Proficient with Azure DevOps and Git for source control and CI/CD
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
