Senior .NET Developer

Compest Solutions Inc is seeking a Senior .NET Developer for an onsite role in Fort Mill, NC. In this position, you will shape end-to-end application and data architecture that brings together SQL platforms, AWS services, and .NET Core to support complex business needs with reliability and high performance. This role is built for someone with deep experience, including 12 years of relevant background.

What You’ll Do

• Design end-to-end application and data architectures integrating SQL platforms, AWS services, and .NET Core applications to meet demanding requirements for reliability and performance.
• Lead solution design workshops with product owners, stakeholders, and engineering teams to convert business requirements into pragmatic architecture blueprints that are feasible and cost-conscious.
• Define and document architectural standards, patterns, and guidelines that improve consistency, scalability, and maintainability across enterprise systems and programs.
• Partner with development teams to influence .NET application design, including core components, interfaces, and data flows that support optimized resource usage and long-term supportability.
• Lead database modeling and SQL optimization efforts to strengthen data integrity, improve query efficiency, and enhance reporting for internal and external consumers.
• Evaluate AWS cloud services and configurations to propose secure, resilient, and cost-effective infrastructure options aligned to governance and compliance expectations.
• Review solution designs and technical implementations to surface architectural risks, performance bottlenecks, and security exposures, then recommend remediation steps that are practical and measurable.
• Coordinate with operations and site reliability peers to design monitoring, backup, and recovery approaches for strong service continuity in hybrid day shift environments with no travel demands.
• Mentor engineers and analysts on best practices in cloud-native architecture, SQL data design, and .NET application development to raise team capability and encourage innovation.
• Work with business and technology leaders to evaluate future demand trends and propose architectural roadmaps that improve agility, reduce technical debt, and support sustainable digital transformation.
• Analyze system usage and performance metrics, then recommend incremental enhancements to improve user experience, efficiency, and operational stability.
• Ensure solutions include robust security controls, access management, and compliance alignment to protect sensitive data and build trust in digital services.
• Maintain high-quality documentation by producing architecture diagrams, interface specifications, and data models that support understanding, management, and long-term evolution.
