Senior .NET Developer

Premier Staffing Partners is hiring a Senior .NET Developer for a hybrid W2 contract role based in Knoxville, TN. This position supports business-facing applications and internal technical solutions over a 6-12 month engagement with potential extension.

The work centers on .NET Core services, AWS-based infrastructure, and application integrations, including hands-on connectivity with Workday. If you have experience building and operating API-driven systems and cloud components, this role aligns closely with your background.

Role summary

• Design, develop, and maintain applications and services using .NET Core / C#.
• Build direct integrations between Workday, third-party platforms, and internal business systems.
• Develop and consume REST and SOAP APIs plus Workday RaaS (Reports as a Service) endpoints.
• Build and maintain cloud-based solutions using AWS services.
• Develop and manage infrastructure using Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Support applications running in containerized environments.

Collaboration and delivery

• Partner with technical teams, business partners, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot integration, application, and cloud infrastructure issues.
• Participate in solution design, code reviews, testing, deployment, and ongoing application support.
• Apply best practices for scalability, security, maintainability, and performance.

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of professional development experience.
• Strong professional development experience with C# and .NET Core.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and system integrations.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or comparable cloud technologies.
• Understanding of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code concepts.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Strong understanding of modern application architecture and cloud-hosted solutions.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across technical and business teams.

• Location: Knoxville, TN 37923 (Required).
• Ability to commute: Knoxville, TN 37923 (Required).
• Residency: must reside within a 1 hour radius of the Knoxville TN area.
