Job Description

Based in Knoxville, Keller Group, LLC operates Keller Creative Agency and is seeking a Web Developer to join the in-office team. The role focuses on building and maintaining client websites using WordPress, handling both front-end and back-end development, and providing ongoing site management to keep sites secure, performant, and up-to-date.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the creative team to develop visually compelling, user-friendly websites that align with each client’s creative vision.
Set up and integrate the back end by deploying WordPress instances and installing advanced plugins to manage third-party integrations.
Apply industry best practices for security when deploying websites and systems, including multi-factor authentication, strong password requirements, and threat remediation.
Choose and implement clean, efficient, and scalable solutions; perform regular reviews to maintain high quality standards.
Translate designs from the creative team into responsive websites that provide an optimal experience across devices and browsers.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to ensure websites run smoothly.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continually enhance skills and contribute fresh ideas.
Experience with modern AI systems and the use of AI-enabled tools to improve development workflows and client solutions is a plus.

Requirements

Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills, with solid WordPress development experience and familiarity with server-side hosting and management. Experience with WooCommerce and Shopify is a plus.
Creative mindset with the ability to translate concepts into functional, visually appealing websites.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proven problem-solving abilities with a track record of delivering innovative technical solutions.
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work within deadlines.
