Job Description
Based in Knoxville, Keller Group, LLC operates Keller Creative Agency and is seeking a Web Developer to join the in-office team. The role focuses on building and maintaining client websites using WordPress, handling both front-end and back-end development, and providing ongoing site management to keep sites secure, performant, and up-to-date.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop visually compelling, user-friendly websites that align with each client’s creative vision.
- Set up and integrate the back end by deploying WordPress instances and installing advanced plugins to manage third-party integrations.
- Apply industry best practices for security when deploying websites and systems, including multi-factor authentication, strong password requirements, and threat remediation.
- Choose and implement clean, efficient, and scalable solutions; perform regular reviews to maintain high quality standards.
- Translate designs from the creative team into responsive websites that provide an optimal experience across devices and browsers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to ensure websites run smoothly.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continually enhance skills and contribute fresh ideas.
- Experience with modern AI systems and the use of AI-enabled tools to improve development workflows and client solutions is a plus.
Requirements
- Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills, with solid WordPress development experience and familiarity with server-side hosting and management. Experience with WooCommerce and Shopify is a plus.
- Creative mindset with the ability to translate concepts into functional, visually appealing websites.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven problem-solving abilities with a track record of delivering innovative technical solutions.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work within deadlines.
