Sr. Software Developer

Retirement Clearinghouse LLC is hiring a Senior Software Developer for a hybrid role in Charlotte, NC. This position focuses on end-to-end delivery, application design and architecture, and ongoing maintenance, including performance tuning and bug resolution across existing systems.

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver projects on time from start to finish in collaboration with teammates.
• Own application design and architectural decisions for assigned projects.
• Participate across the software development lifecycle, from documenting requirements through implementation and testing.
• Contribute to peer code reviews with other engineers.
• Support and maintain existing applications, including performance tuning and bug fixing.
• Stay current on relevant software and technology developments.
• Communicate effectively with management, the IT team, and other departments.

Required Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, MIS, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET MVC.
• Proficiency in EF Core.
• Proficiency in APIs.
• Proficiency in microservices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Proficiency with source control software.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Familiarity with various design and architectural patterns.
• Familiarity with AI code generation tools.
• Familiarity with SCA tools.
• Knowledge of Blazor and single page applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong analytical and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with limited or no supervision.

Technology Focus

The role emphasizes work with: C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, EF Core, APIs, microservices, Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, source control software, Blazor, single page applications, AI code generation tools, and SCA tools.

Compensation

USD 120,000 - 130,000 per year (commensurate with experience).

Location
