Sentinel Principal or Sr Principal Software Engineer for the Sentinel program, Northrop Grumman, based in Roy, Utah onsite.

Define and architect software system structures for both new and existing products
Develop software within an agile development framework
Design automated testing procedures for test execution teams
Collaborate with the lead test engineer and a team of developers to build and enhance automated tools
Create software test plans and procedures for team software products

Principal Software Engineer

5 years with a Bachelor’s in a related field, 3 years with a Master’s, 1 year with a PhD, or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree
US Citizenship with an active DoD Secret clearance and a reinvestigation date within the last six years
Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP)
Experience with Agile and working in a cross-functional Scrum team
Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Jira and Confluence
Working knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design Principles
Experience programming in object oriented languages such as C++, Python, and JavaScript
Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering MBSE languages such as SysML and UML
Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Familiar with Software Development Plans
Familiar with Software Engineering best practices
Strong technical leadership, interpersonal, and written/verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement
