This Technical Advisor (Full Stack Developer) position operates within a DevSecOps framework, with an active TS/SCI clearance and about 10 years of relevant software development and engineering experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of assigned projects.
- Own the technical planning, development, testing, deployment support, and evaluation of system capabilities.
- Perform high-level systems analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and implementation of very complex systems, requiring thorough technical expertise.
- Provide day-to-day technical guidance and leadership.
- Offer subject matter proficiency for the work described in the task.
- Deliver analytical skills and technical expertise to support technical development, process improvement, specialized studies, and requirements definition.
- Oversee all contractor engineering and phases of system development as they pertain to the JCO system and capabilities.
- Serve as the primary touchpoint to the JCC2 PMO regarding the technical development of prioritized capabilities and the technical decomposition of requirements.
- Lead technical analysis and planning efforts, develop and/or review requirements documents, develop procedures, formulate functional architecture, and perform related management and technical duties.
Requirements
- An active TS/SCI clearance is required.
- Must be able to report on-site in Fort Meade, MD up to five days per week based on customer requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
- A Master’s degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.
- IAT Level II certification required.
- 10 years of experience in the functional area.
- 10 years of software development experience in object-oriented and scripted languages with the ability to apply tool suites related to DevSecOps, microservices, and containers.
- 2 years of container technology experience including Kubernetes, Docker, and Amazon EKS.
- 5 years of experience with bug tracking software such as Jira.
- 5 years of experience testing web-based applications across security domains including unclassified (NIPR), classified (SIPR), and Top Secret (JWICS).
- 5 years of experience leading software development programs or projects.
- Demonstrated experience preparing, conducting, and documenting various system tests and results to verify operability and compliance with project standards.
- Practical experience integrating Restful interfaces and exchanging Restful information.
- Practical experience developing and deploying software in a cloud environment.

Compensation
Salary: USD 170,000 – 210,000 per year. Compensation is influenced by location, education, training, experience, travel requirements, external market, and internal value analyses, and is considered one component of the total package.
