Senior Project Manager - Developer and GC

Michael Page is partnering with an established General Contractor in the Detroit area to hire a Senior Project Manager (Developer and GC) for onsite work in Detroit, MI. This role will support ground up multifamily construction efforts, coordinating teams and timelines from early planning through key turnover while helping move high-value projects forward.

Role & Project Focus

In this permanent project management position, you will manage ground up multifamily work from foundation stage through key turnover. The opportunity includes leading construction projects valued over $20M+ and working with teams across the project lifecycle, including preconstruction support and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead ground up multifamily projects from foundation to key turnover
• Successfully run construction projects valued at $20M+
• Deliver on-time and within budget projects for multifamily clients across Indianapolis
• Create and maintain the master schedule
• Assist in preconstruction planning
• Oversee a Project Engineer and delegate tasks as needed
• Collaborate closely with the Superintendent and subcontractors to ensure successful outcomes

Requirements

• Experience managing construction projects from start to finish
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to lead teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders
• Knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and regulations
• Proficiency with project management software and tools
• Results-driven mindset with close attention to detail

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $125,000 to $150,000 (based upon experience)
• All-in package: $160,000+
