Responsibilities
- Design and build end-to-end agentic workflows that bring together models, tools, and data to execute multi-step tasks
- Define system behaviors including planning, tool use, structured outputs, and failure handling
- Develop infrastructure to evaluate and improve agentic system performance across quality, reliability, and cost
- Build monitoring and observability capabilities to understand agent behavior in production
- Integrate LLMs with internal and external tools to enable retrieval of context, API calls, and action execution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into scalable agentic systems
- Iterate on system performance through ongoing evaluation and improvement
- Make design tradeoffs for latency, cost, accuracy, and controllability, including comparing deterministic pipelines vs adaptive, LLM-driven approaches
