About the team
Our Corporate Technology team relies on smart, driven people to develop applications and provide tech support for all corporate functions across our network. Your efforts will touch lives across the financial spectrum and across all our divisions: Global Finance, Corporate Treasury, Risk Management, Human Resources, Compliance, Legal, and within the Corporate Administrative Office.
Responsibilities
- Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
- Creates secure, high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run in sync with the appropriate systems
- Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
- Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets to support continuous improvement of software applications and systems
- Proactively identifies hidden problems and data patterns and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
- Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events exploring new and emerging technologies
- Contributes to a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience building Python full‑stack applications
- Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and maintaining operational stability
- Proficient coder in one or more programming languages
- Experience delivering, debugging, and sustaining code in a large corporate environment with modern languages and database querying languages
- Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, and container orchestration in production
- Familiarity with cloud-native development and AWS services, especially AWS EKS for deploying and managing containers
- Solid grasp of agile practices including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and agentic coding workflows (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Amazon CodeWhisperer) and understanding of GenAI fundamentals for developer productivity
- Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, AI/ML, mobile, etc.)
