- Implement robust error handling, alerting, and retry mechanisms across job pipelines.
- Work with DBAs and application teams to map dependencies, critical paths, and data lineage.
- Set up execution logs, audit trails, and SLA monitoring dashboards for job execution.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and onboarding new jobs into the orchestrator.

- Familiarity with job schedulers such as RunMyJob and Autosys, including replacing or abstracting them with orchestration tooling.
- Strong debugging across logs, databases, and the filesystem for failed jobs and partial runs.
- Experience building integrations involving REST APIs, SFTP/FTP, and parameter-driven automation.
Preferred experience
- Experience modernizing legacy data workflows from Perl or PL/SQL stored procedures.
- Hands-on knowledge of Git/Bitbucket and Jenkins with CI/CD for code-controlled job rollouts.
- Familiarity with financial data models such as holdings, transactions, NAVs, and tax lots.
