Software Engineer III - HCM

JPMorgan Chase's Corporate Technology team is seeking a Software Engineer III to work onsite in Columbus, Ohio. The role centers on designing and delivering security enhancements for the HCM platform while providing operational security support for HCM systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security enhancements to ensure HCM software meets both functional and user requirements.
• Configure security within the Oracle HCM product, including reporting, role provisioning, and resolving role and access defects.
• Develop and continuously improve data security measures, including Areas of Responsibility, personalization, location-based access control, IP whitelisting, and public roles.
• Create secure, high-quality production code and review or debug code written by others.
• Minimize security vulnerabilities by following industry best practices and regulatory requirements, and establish processes to evaluate the effectiveness of current controls.
• Contribute to a team culture that emphasizes diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
• Collaborate closely with technology teams to implement Behavior-Driven Development.

Requirements

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
• Experience using HCM.
• Experience optimizing processes and assessing risks and controls within the IAM space (Identify and Access Management).
• Experience managing projects using tools like MS Project, JIRA and applying agile methodologies.
• Responsible for crafting functional and technical designs and documentation for Oracle HCM data conversions, interfaces, and customized reporting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud services such as Oracle HCM and AWS and security protocols; Software as a Service (SaaS).
