  • Produce secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with the systems they support.
  • Use enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity across complex deliverables such as code generation or refactoring, unit test creation, and documentation, while validating results through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards.
  • Apply knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) toolchain capabilities, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation, to increase value realized through automation.
  • Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and remain accountable for ensuring software code development satisfies required design constraints.
  • Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large and diverse datasets to support continuous improvement of software applications and systems.
  • Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data, using those insights to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.

Required Qualifications

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
  • Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools (for coding, test creation, troubleshooting, or documentation) with demonstrated ability to critically evaluate, validate, and refine AI-generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
  • Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity considerations, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and alignment with resiliency and security expectations, including the ability to guide peers on safe and effective usage.
