Job Description
Accenture Flex is seeking an iOS App Developer to design, code, and refine mobile applications using Swift. This role combines hands-on development with collaboration across multiple teams and a substantial on-site client component, delivering scalable, high-performance software aligned with client needs. The position is based in Irving, Texas with a hybrid setup and a 60 percent on-site requirement at client sites.
Responsibilities
- Develop mobile application solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications.
- Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to business needs.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, collaborate with and guide the team to effective performance.
- Participate in team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key technical choices.
- Provide cross-team solutions to problems and drive improvements beyond the immediate team.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in the Swift programming language.
- Leverage expertise in software engineering, iOS development, with mobile applications as a recommended focus.
- Adopt in‑house RESTful APIs with intermediate proficiency recommended.
- Design and implement innovative software solutions that meet client requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain quality standards and share knowledge.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to improve development practices.
- Show self-motivation, strong problem-solving skills, and understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 10+ years of IT experience, with internship or software experience counting towards the total.
- 3+ years of iOS mobile software development.
- Advanced proficiency in Swift is required.
- Deep understanding of building mobile apps using at least one mobile language (Swift, Java, Objective-C, etc.).
- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
- Role requires 60% onsite client work (3 days per week) in Charlotte, NC.
