UI Developer
Job Description
This onsite UI Developer position with Accenture Flex centers on frontend engineering using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and React. Based in Mountain View, CA, the role offers an hourly rate of USD 49 to 59.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrated command of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+), with a strong React.js background (Hooks, Context API, Redux); TypeScript is preferred
- Capable of delivering responsive, mobile-first interfaces using Flexbox, CSS Grid, and component libraries such as Material UI, Tailwind CSS, or equivalent
- Experience integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs, including asynchronous patterns and authentication flows like OAuth 2.0 and JWT
- Proficient with build tooling and testing ecosystems (Webpack or Vite, Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress) and Git-based workflows with CI/CD awareness
- Ability to convert Figma or design specs into pixel-perfect, accessible UI components in WCAG 2.1 compliance, with design system contribution experience
- Familiarity with performance optimization techniques (code splitting, lazy loading, Core Web Vitals) and SSR/SSG frameworks such as Next.js
Requirements
- 3+ years of frontend development experience using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)
- 3+ years of hands-on React.js experience (Hooks, Context API, Redux or equivalent)
- 2+ years building responsive, mobile-first UIs with Flexbox, CSS Grid, and component libraries (Material UI, Tailwind CSS, or equivalent)
- 2+ years of RESTful API integration, asynchronous patterns, and authentication flows (OAuth 2.0, JWT)
- 1+ year of experience with build tooling (Webpack/Vite), testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress), and Git-based CI/CD workflows
- Ability to translate design specs into pixel-accurate, WCAG 2.1 accessible UI components

Preferred Qualifications
- TypeScript proficiency within a React codebase
- Experience with GraphQL API integration
- Familiarity with performance optimization techniques such as code splitting and lazy loading, plus Core Web Vitals
- Experience with SSR/SSG frameworks, preferably Next.js
- Design system contribution experience (building or maintaining shared component libraries)
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
