Job Description
Overview
Leidos is seeking a Software Developer to contribute to a large, 200+ person technical development program supporting the Sponsor’s Entitlement Programs as well as IdAM and ICAM, authentication, authorization, entitlements and digital policy management. The role collaborates with a substantial team of developers and cloud engineers to add features to legacy applications and to build new solutions as mission needs evolve. Work follows a Scrum framework with three-week increments, including planning and Jira backlog grooming. Team members share in on-call after-hours support, approximately one week every three months.
Responsibilities
- Join a team of developers and cloud engineers to create new features for legacy applications and to develop new applications as mission requirements grow.
- Operate within a Scrum based cadence to deliver iterative enhancements on a three-week cycle.
- Actively participate in planning, backlog grooming in Jira, and collaborate to optimize performance and maintain clear communication.
- Take part in a rotating on-call O&M responsibility, typically about one week per quarter.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
- BS degree with 8+ years of relevant experience; additional experience may substitute for the degree
- Experience building applications with Java, Spring Boot, and AWS
- Experience writing custom scripts to install and configure code on EC2 instances
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, and Rundeck
- Experience using CloudFormation scripts
- Experience creating RESTful APIs
- Experience working on a team that uses the Scrum framework
- Experience manipulating data in XML, JSON and YAML formats
Desired Qualifications
- AWS certification
- Experience delivering containerized applications with services similar to Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience creating applications or services using Python
- Experience with Elasticsearch and/or Kibana
- Experience creating applications that rely on tokenization
- Understanding of Identity Access Management (IAM) and Zero Trust concepts
- Understanding of AI concepts such as prompt engineering and large language models
- Experience building microservices
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Katalon Studio or Selenium
- Experience building solutions designed to continue operation if one AWS region becomes unavailable
- Experience writing custom scripts to install and configure code on EC2 instances

Pay Range
Pay Range: $107,900.00 - $195,050.00
