Job Description
Robert Half is seeking a PeopleSoft Integrations Developer for a contract-to-perm role onsite in Hartford, CT. The position centers on maintaining and enhancing critical data interfaces across PeopleSoft environments, with a focus on Informatica-based development and ongoing support to ensure reliable data movement. This onsite opportunity pays between $43 and $58 per hour and offers a path to permanent employment.
Responsibilities
- Design, improve, and monitor Informatica-based integration pipelines to move data between PeopleSoft modules and connected systems.
- Investigate interface failures, job outages, and data discrepancies, implementing fixes to restore dependable processing.
- Collaborate with functional partners and technical stakeholders to elicit requirements and translate data movement needs into effective integration solutions.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including interface designs, mapping logic, workflow steps, and runbooks for operations support.
- Support test planning, execution, and validation for integration updates, patches, and new enhancements prior to release.
- Review source-to-target mappings, schemas, and existing interface artifacts to ensure alignment with business rules and system design.
- Document processes thoroughly to enable knowledge sharing and ensure continuity of existing integrations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience developing or supporting data integrations in PeopleSoft environments.
- Hands-on experience with Informatica and enterprise ETL processes for data movement and transformation.
- Working knowledge of the PeopleSoft Integration Broker and related tools used to connect PeopleSoft with other platforms.
- Ability to interpret technical artifacts such as data mappings, schemas, interface specifications, and workflow documentation.
- Experience with PeopleSoft applications such as Campus Solutions or Financials is strongly preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create organized documentation for support and handoff purposes.
- Familiarity with Oracle-based data integration technologies, including Oracle Data Integrator or similar tools, is a plus.
