Job Description

This contract-to-permanent Software Developer role supports a healthcare-focused organization in Dallas, TX (onsite), helping build and improve enterprise integrations and automation workflows across business-critical platforms. The work focuses on designing, deploying, monitoring, and enhancing integrations in a complex SaaS environment, with close collaboration with stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions.

What you’ll do

  • Build, test, deploy, and maintain integrations across enterprise systems, cloud applications, and external vendors using APIs, web services, and file-based exchange methods.
  • Create and support Workday integration solutions using Workday Studio, Orchestrate, and web services to align with business and operational needs.
  • Develop data interfaces using standard exchange formats, ensuring strong error handling, monitoring, and overall workflow reliability.
  • Design automation solutions with tools including Power Automate, Azure services, Freshservice Orchestration, UiPath, and Quickbase to streamline business processes.
  • Convert functional requirements into technical designs, interface specifications, field mappings, and implementation plans for integration delivery.
  • Monitor interface activity, investigate failures or data inconsistencies, and apply corrective actions to improve stability and performance.
  • Support the full software development lifecycle, covering discovery, design, coding, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
  • Maintain clear technical documentation, including runbooks, workflow diagrams, support guides, and interface design materials.
  • Participate in peer reviews and architecture discussions to reinforce coding practices, solution quality, and long-term integration standards.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 5+ years developing and supporting enterprise application integrations.
  • 3+ years hands-on experience building Workday integrations.
  • Strong background integrating cloud-based business systems within complex SaaS environments.
  • Experience working with Agile, Scrum, or similar delivery methodologies.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Workday, Dynamics, and other HR or finance-related enterprise applications.
  • Technical proficiency with Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, APIs, SOAP web services, and low-code tools such as Quickbase or Microsoft Power Apps.

Compensation and benefits

Pay: USD 55 - 64 per hour.
