ERP Developer

Robert Half is seeking an ERP Developer to join our team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In this role, you will support and enhance enterprise systems, build custom applications, and provide end-user training. You will contribute to process improvements and drive system integrations in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ongoing support for the ERP system to ensure reliable operation and resolve end-user issues
• Design and maintain web applications that interface seamlessly with the ERP platform
• Develop and present training materials to educate users on ERP capabilities and custom applications
• Collaborate with users to identify opportunities for system improvements and implement effective solutions
• Provide technical support for integrated applications and ensure system compatibility across components
• Lead project management tasks, including gathering requirements, creating scope documents, and mapping business processes
• Perform gap analyses to pinpoint enhancement opportunities and craft strategies to address them
• Create and manage SQL queries, stored procedures, and reports to meet business needs
• Integrate ERP systems with third-party applications to optimize workflows
• Monitor project timelines and ensure alignment with the software development life cycle

Requirements and Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of ERP systems and related business processes; Oracle R12.2.13 experience preferred
• Proficiency in PL/SQL, JavaScript, and PHP
• Expertise in developing queries, procedures, and reports using SQL
• Solid experience in full life cycle software development, including requirements gathering and process documentation
• Familiarity with Oracle APIs and integration techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with end users and stakeholders
• Proven ability to manage projects and ensure timely delivery of solutions
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience; minimum of 5 years programming and ERP support experience required
