SME Oracle APEX Developer

Leidos is seeking a SME Oracle APEX Developer to contribute to the ESA V program, focusing on the full lifecycle development of custom Oracle Applications using the Oracle APEX toolset. This onsite role in the Washington, DC metro area carries a salary range of USD 131,300 to 237,350 per year and requires a Master’s degree with at least 10 years of experience. The position centers on advanced Oracle APEX work and the integration of database, scripting, and web technologies to deliver robust enterprise solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support the full lifecycle development of custom Oracle Applications under the program manager’s guidance, primarily using Oracle APEX.
• Apply advanced Oracle APEX techniques to craft effective solutions.
• Collaborate with Oracle Integrated Development Environments such as Quest Toad and Oracle SQL Developer.
• Design and dynamically present web content using JQuery, Ajax, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
• Create dynamic reports within the Oracle APEX environment.
• Provide expertise in advanced use of Oracle Database products version 11 and above.
• Support Oracle database objects including tables, indexes, directories, sequences, and triggers.
• Work with PL/SQL, Java, Windows PowerShell, and Unix shell scripting, with familiarity of built-in PL/SQL packages and procedures.
• Handle storage, retrieval, and manipulation of unstructured data (BLOBs, CLOBs, JSON, XMLType) in an Oracle setting.
• Integrate and manage BI Publisher templates and web services.
• Analyze existing Oracle Forms applications and design migration strategies to scalable, secure web apps using Oracle APEX.
• Develop APIs and connections to external applications.
• Deliver enterprise-grade workflow-centric applications.
• Build logical functions and algorithms to automate business processes.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizen.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust security clearance.
• Experience with secure network programming in an Oracle environment, including the use of security certificates and HTTPS callouts.
• Proven experience with the full lifecycle development of custom Oracle Applications, including the Oracle APEX toolset.
• Experience with Oracle IDEs such as Quest Toad and Oracle SQL Developer.
• Proficiency with JQuery, Ajax, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
• Experience with PL/SQL, Java, Windows PowerShell, and Unix shell scripting, with familiarity of built-in PL/SQL packages and procedures.
• Experience storing, retrieving, and manipulating unstructured data (BLOBs, CLOBs, JSON, XMLType) in Oracle.
• Ability to establish goals and meet project plan objectives.
• Experience with data migration tools and techniques.
• Capability to write and maintain system documentation on work products.
