Position Description
The Mission Systems Group (MSG) Division is seeking a Senior-Level Application Developer to support the development, maintenance, testing, documentation, and distribution of Android and iOS platforms and their derivatives. The role will be a key contributor to delivering applications that meet customer requirements, while supporting ongoing evolution and deep understanding of those requirements.

Responsibilities and Impact
Contribute to full lifecycle software efforts for mobile platforms, ensuring alignment with contract requirements and customer needs. Participate in delivery, evolution, and technical support of applications on Android and iOS ecosystems.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, a scientific field, or a technical discipline with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
- Expert proficiency in mobile development languages for Android and iOS, including Java, Kotlin, C, Objective-C, and Swift.
- Extensive experience designing and developing microprocessor‑controlled systems with standard or custom operating systems.
- Strong background building and maintaining systems for scientific data collection and automation.
- Advanced expertise building mobile software using Android Studio and Xcode.
- Ability to translate requirements into software solutions that support contract needs.
- Provide technical, troubleshooting, and user support to resolve Android and iOS platform issues.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance.
Qualifications Desired
- Experience with digital signal processing algorithms and their applications.
- Experience developing or maintaining Linux-based sensor collection systems.
- Experience with wireless networking technologies including mesh networking.
- Experience with single board computers, including and similar to the Raspberry Pi.
