Software Engineer – Android & iOS Mobile Applications

SBT Global, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain commercial mobile applications for Android and iOS. This is a 6-month contract based in Plano, TX (onsite), with pay of approximately $8,900/month depending on experience. Professional proficiency in Korean and English is preferred.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain Android and iOS applications aligned to business requirements.
• Create mobile interfaces and integrate REST APIs, push notifications, and local data storage.
• Contribute across the development lifecycle, including technical design, coding, testing, and documentation.
• Manage app releases and updates through Google Play and the Apple App Store.
• Support enterprise iOS workflows, including in-house distribution, MDM deployment, distribution certificate renewal, troubleshooting, and related signing activities.

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining commercial applications.
• 3+ years building both Android and iOS applications using Java and Objective-C.
• Proficiency with Android Studio, Xcode, Git, REST APIs, asynchronous programming, app lifecycle management, and memory management.
• Experience publishing and updating apps on Google Play and the Apple App Store.
• Hands-on experience with the Apple Developer Enterprise Program, distribution certificates, provisioning profiles, entitlements, and MDM-based deployment.
• Ability to prepare technical documentation and work independently or with a team.

Preferred qualifications

• Ability to discuss technical requirements and collaborate with stakeholders in Korean and English.
• Experience with Apple Business Manager and Custom Apps distribution.
