Job Description
At the County of Imperial in Imperial, California, the Employment Developer helps connect One-Stop Center clients with meaningful job opportunities and strengthens collaborations with employers and community partners. This role combines proactive outreach to local employers with hands-on case management to support both employers and job seekers.
Overview
The Employment Developer focuses on researching and locating employment opportunities for One-Stop Center clients, while cultivating productive relationships with a broad network of employers, employee groups, partner agencies, and other organizations. Providing case management services to both employers and clients is a core part of the role.

- Location: Imperial, CA (onsite)
- Salary: USD 3,084 - 3,760 per monthly
- Minimum experience: 2 years
- Education: High school diploma supplemented by college-level coursework in business, career counseling or a related field
Responsibilities
- Research and locate employment opportunities for One-Stop Center clients
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with various employers, employee groups, partner agencies and other organizations
- Provide case management services for employers and clients
Requirements
- A combination equivalent to graduation from high school supplemented by college-level coursework in business, career counseling or a related field and two years of experience in an employment training agency or related field
- Valid California driver's license and proof of current California auto liability insurance at time of appointment, and throughout employment in this classification
- Personal transportation for job-related travel
