Job Coach / Developer for Adults with Disabilities

ENSO is hiring a part-time Job Coach / Developer (Supported Employment Professional) to help adults with disabilities in South King County (Auburn) build stable, paid, integrated employment. This onsite role includes local travel to participant workplaces for coaching and documentation in a web-based system. You will also have a clear opportunity to grow into full-time as trust is established and the role is mastered.

Responsibilities

• Support participants in identifying job skills, strengths, and career goals to secure paid, integrated employment.
• Network with local businesses to help develop new employment opportunities.
• Meet participants at their workplaces to provide on-the-job coaching and moral support so they can keep their jobs.
• Help participants learn new tasks, overcome barriers, and strengthen workplace independence.
• Serve as a communication bridge between the participant, coworkers, and local business managers.
• Complete daily progress notes and documentation through the web-based system.

Requirements

• Live in the area and be comfortable driving throughout South King County to visit participant sites.
• Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance for daily local travel.
• Ability to work a flexible part-time schedule (primarily weekdays; limited evening/weekend needs based on participant schedules).
• Previous experience or strong interest in human services, supported employment, direct support, education, or coaching/job development.
• Strong time-management, empathy, and basic computer/tech skills (email and web-based apps).

Role details

Location: In person, King County, WA (onsite).
Job type: Part-time (with opportunity for full-time growth).
Pay: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour.
