Job Developer

SHADOWFAX CORPORATION is hiring a Job Developer for a full-time, onsite role in York, PA. In this position, you will support individuals with disabilities throughout their job search, helping them move toward positive employment outcomes through direct coaching and employer-focused outreach.

Role Overview

You will assist job seekers with career guidance and practical job preparation. The work includes counseling and skill development, along with building relationships with local employers and community organizations to expand the job opportunities available to the people you support.

Responsibilities

• Support positive employment outcomes by providing career counseling, job preparation training, skill development, job search coaching, and other employment services
• Develop and maintain relationships with local employers and community organizations to create job opportunities

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and 2 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities in an employment setting is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Disability Services, Social Services, Business, Education, or another related field
• Valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of good driving experience and eligibility to meet the organization’s driver criteria
• CESP certification or ACRE Basic Employment Certificate required within 18 months of hire
• Basic computer skills required

Education

Education requirements include a high school diploma or GED (with 2 years of relevant experience preferred) and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Disability Services, Social Services, Business, Education, or another related field.

Compensation: USD 19 - 19 per hour. Experience: 2 years minimum.
