Job Description

Infosys is seeking an onsite AWS Redshift ETL Developer in Charlotte, NC to drive requirements, guide design decisions, participate in coding and code reviews, implement testing strategies, and support training, documentation, and production issue resolution within a strong end-to-end SDLC framework.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to requirements elicitation by documenting assigned portions of business requirements in line with guidance, ensuring traceability to the project scope.
  • Facilitate software design discussions and document design decisions to guide the technical team toward building scalable and maintainable solutions.
  • Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with an emphasis on preserving system stability and performance.
  • Conduct code reviews, implement changes to the codebase, and maintain repositories to support reliable version control and collaboration.
  • Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold software quality standards throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Develop user training programs, comprehensive documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications.
  • Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability and uptime.
  • Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base for similar projects in the future.
