Java Backend Developer with AWS

This position is for a Java backend developer at Infosys in Raleigh, NC (onsite), supporting end-to-end software development and operational readiness. The work spans the full SDLC, from requirements documentation and design collaboration through coding, testing, production issue resolution, and knowledge-sharing activities.

Responsibilities

• Support requirements elicitation by documenting assigned portions of business requirements according to provided guidance.
• Participate in application design discussions and document design decisions to help the technical team deliver software solutions.
• Code and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with an emphasis on maintaining system stability.
• Perform code reviews, make codebase changes, and maintain code repositories.
• Help implement test strategies, analyze outcomes, and coordinate bug fixes to meet software quality standards.
• Create user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to support smooth adoption of new software applications.
• Join efforts to resolve production issues and recommend preventive strategies that improve system reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing approaches, and support activities to strengthen the knowledge base and support similar projects.
