Android Developer

This onsite role supports an Android technology effort as a Technology Consultant 2 at Infosys. The work spans requirements documentation, software design, feature development and integration, testing, production support, and knowledge capture to support application transitions.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned portions of business requirements according to provided guidance.
• Support application design discussions and document design decisions so the technical team can implement software solutions.
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with emphasis on maintaining system stability.
• Perform code reviews, make approved changes to the codebase, and maintain code repositories.
• Implement testing strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold established software quality standards.
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to enable smooth transitions to new applications.
• Participate in production issue resolution and recommend preventive strategies to improve system reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing approaches, and support activities to expand the knowledge base and support similar projects.
