Senior .NET Developer

This senior role for FSS Government Solutions focuses on designing, building, and maintaining scalable software solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform with integrated AI capabilities. The position is based onsite in Baltimore, MD.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable applications using .NET and ASP.NET Core
• Implement and manage solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform, including development, monitoring, and application scaling
• Integrate AI capabilities using Azure AI tools, including Azure Machine Learning
• Integrate AI capabilities using Azure AI tools, including Azure Cognitive Services
• Integrate AI capabilities using Azure AI tools, including Azure OpenAI APIs and tools
• Develop and secure RESTful APIs for seamless application integration
• Practice and participate in DevOps principles using Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines
• Practice and participate in DevOps principles using Git for version control
• Practice and participate in DevOps principles using Automated testing practices
• Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep scripts for Azure resource provisioning and management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Ensure best practices in commercial software development processes, including Agile methodologies

Requirements

• Deep expertise in C# and the .NET framework, including modern features
• Experience with Python and/or Node.js for application development, data processing, or specific AI tasks
• Experience with client-side technologies and modern front-end frameworks such as Angular and React
• Strong SQL skills, including query optimization and database design
