Job Description

Resolution Technologies is modernizing a mission-critical, online self-service portal and is building scalable platforms for licensing and eligibility workflows. This Senior Full-Stack .NET Developer role (hybrid in Atlanta, GA) takes ownership of design and delivery as a legacy ASP.NET application moves to .NET 8+, modern API-first services, Azure cloud capabilities, and a React-based UI.

What you’ll work on

You’ll champion the modernization of licensing and eligibility applications, transitioning legacy solutions to .NET and Azure-based architectures. The focus is on reducing technical debt while improving long-term supportability through secure, maintainable implementations.

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions for mission-critical applications.
  • Build and evolve API-first integrations and services to support future platform capabilities.
  • Develop cloud-native functionality using Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and related Azure technologies.
  • Own the SQL Server platform, including data architecture, performance tuning, data migration, and platform modernization.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to automate testing, deployment, and release management.
  • Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, automation, documentation, and modern development practices.
  • Build and maintain React-based UI components as part of the modernization roadmap.
  • Apply web application rendering knowledge, including CSR, SSR, component-based architectures, and modern frontend frameworks.
  • Integrate third-party services and internal APIs, keeping integration documentation clean and complete.
  • Implement and maintain reporting with SSRS and Power BI.
  • Participate in AI integration initiatives, including Azure Agentic AI services, Copilot tooling, and chatbot integrations where applicable.
  • Provide production support, including independent root-cause analysis when issues occur.
  • Maintain application documentation, deployment runbooks, and user-facing guides.
  • Join architecture reviews, code reviews, and sprint ceremonies.

What you bring

  • 8+ years of professional .NET development experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API.
  • Hands-on experience migrating legacy ASP.NET applications to modern .NET (6, 7, 8, or 10).
  • Production SQL Server experience, including stored procedures, T-SQL tuning, schema migrations, and data clean-up.
  • Hands-on Azure experience including App Services, Function Apps, deployment pipelines, and configuration management.
  • 5+ years delivering software in Agile (Scrum or Kanban) environments using ADO or GitHub.
  • Evidence of modernizing a real application (not a proof of concept) from legacy ASP.NET to .NET 6/7/8/10.
  • Designed and maintained RESTful APIs that external systems rely on.
  • Ability to debug production issues independently, without needing a team lead to walk through it.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Technologies you’ll use

  • .NET 8+ (including .NET 6, 7, 8, and 10), ASP.NET, C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API

  • SQL Server, T-SQL
  • React, SSR, CSR
  • SSRS, Power BI
  • Azure Agentic AI services, Copilot tooling, chatbot integrations
  • Agile (Scrum, Kanban), ADO, GitHub, RESTful APIs

Preferred strengths

  • React experience building components inside an existing application (not greenfield).
  • Exposure to .NET 10.
  • Power BI or SSRS reporting development.
  • Experience in government, healthcare, or public-sector systems with strong understanding of compliance, auditability, and data sensitivity.
  • Familiarity with ADA/WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.
  • Exposure to Azure Agentic AI services or production integration of AI-driven features.
  • Experience with middleware platforms such as Boombei or MuleSoft.
