Senior Android Application Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and sustain native Android applications for fitness tracking, equipment integration, and shopping experiences.
• Collaborate with product, design, and hardware engineering teams to deliver cohesive user experiences.
• Integrate with fitness ecosystems such as Google Fit and Health Connect, connect Bluetooth-enabled devices, and IoT platforms.
• Fine-tune performance to run smoothly across diverse Android devices and screen sizes.
• Ensure robust security and privacy for user data, with emphasis on health and fitness metrics.
• Lead code reviews, coach junior engineers, and participate in architectural planning.
• Keep current with Android development trends and innovations in fitness technology.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least five years of native Android development experience using Kotlin and Java.
• Solid expertise in Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, and MVVM architecture.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party SDKs, and Google Play Store deployment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
