Job Description

TSW Mall is seeking a Website Developer/IT Tech to support the development and ongoing maintenance of web applications, while providing day-to-day IT support. This is an in-person role based in Chester, SC, focused on responsive website design, reliable operations, and timely technical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, update, and maintain web applications to support organizational needs.
  • Build websites and implement responsive web interfaces that adapt to different screen sizes and devices.
  • Collaborate with designers and other developers to deliver engaging, functional websites.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues affecting website performance, security, and functionality.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and follow web development best practices.
  • Support IT-related work as needed, including system updates, network troubleshooting, and hardware or software support.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to improve web solutions over time.
  • Monitor websites every day and keep them up and running.
  • Fix broken elements quickly to reduce downtime and maintain functionality.
  • Drive traffic to the websites so people can discover the products and services.
  • Understand AI and use it to support efforts to drive traffic.

Requirements

  • Proven web development experience, including building web applications with responsive design.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks or content management systems.
  • Strong understanding of UI and UX principles.
  • Knowledge of IT support functions such as troubleshooting hardware or software issues and maintaining network security is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and also collaborate within a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Clear communication skills for coordination with team members and stakeholders.
