IT Developer/Technician

Vantage Surgical Solutions seeks an IT Developer/Technician (hybrid) in Effingham, IL to support internal applications, data, systems administration, and Salesforce and email campaign workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web and mobile applications using .NET Core and Ruby on Rails
• Design, build, and optimize SQL databases for application performance and reporting needs
• Administer and maintain Windows server architecture, including performance monitoring and troubleshooting
• Perform server and endpoint maintenance, including patching, updates, and security hardening
• Configure and deploy new endpoints for staff (desktops, laptops, and mobile devices)
• Manage iOS Mobile Device Management (MDM) including enrollment, configuration, and security policy enforcement
• Conduct ongoing database administration tasks such as backups, performance tuning, and data integrity checks
• Develop and customize Salesforce, including custom development with Apex and Lightning components or similar
• Develop and customize Salesforce reports and dashboards
• Develop and customize Salesforce third-party integrations
• Implement SQL logic automations and workflow rules within Salesforce-related processes
• Support email campaign management, including content creation and template development
• Support email cadence automation, audience/list mapping, and scheduling automation
• Support field outreach by working with route optimization tools
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues escalated by Sales, Marketing, and other departments
• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for internal reference
• Participate in weekly update meetings with Sales and IT teams
• Evaluate new tools, technologies, and platforms to improve efficiency and system reliability
• Maintain security and confidentiality of company data and systems
• Assist with IT projects as needed and perform other related duties assigned by management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Proficiency in .NET Core and Ruby on Rails for web and mobile application development
• Strong working knowledge of SQL database design, administration, and query optimization
• Solid understanding of Windows server architecture and endpoint management
• Experience with iOS Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms
• Demonstrated experience with Salesforce development, report building, integrations, and automation
• Familiarity with email marketing/campaign platforms (e.g., Pardot or similar) and route optimization tools
• Strong problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical staff
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments

Compensation: USD 23 - 24 per hour
