Leidos is seeking a Senior Full Stack Application Developer for a contract role in Tampa, FL (hybrid). This position focuses on building and maintaining a Contract Management Tool that supports DoD financial planning, execution tracking, and audit readiness, with an emphasis on scalable, secure application development and integration with government systems.
You'll help deliver secure, audit-compliant solutions using modern front-end and back-end technologies, while working within Agile sprint cycles and DevSecOps practices. The role offers a pay range of USD 107,900 - 195,050 per year, along with benefits that include health and wellness programs, income protection, paid leave, and retirement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable, secure full stack applications using modern frameworks and cloud technologies.
- Partner with UI/UX designers, QA teams, and mission stakeholders to define and implement financial tool capabilities.
- Integrate with DoD financial management systems and help ensure data compliance with government regulations.
- Build RESTful APIs and microservices to support clean, secure data pipelines.
- Apply secure coding practices aligned with DoD STIGs and RMF guidelines.
- Implement role-based access controls (RBAC) and maintain integrity through audit-compliant design.
- Participate in Agile sprint cycles, including code reviews, testing, and release processes.
- Support DevSecOps pipeline integration and CI/CD automation.
Requirements
- Top Secret Clearance (TS/SCI preferred or eligible).
- Hybrid on-site and remote work arrangement.
- 8+ years of full stack development experience supporting web-based applications.
- Strong experience with front-end frameworks: React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Back-end expertise with one or more: C#, Node.js, .NET Core, Java, or Python.
- Experience with SQL/PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps, Git version control, and CI/CD tools (for example, GitLab, Jenkins).
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GovCloud.
- Strong understanding of application security, RBAC, and API development.
- Experience working within DoD or federal IT environments.

- Prior work on software tools used for budget forecasting, contract execution, or manpower allocation.
