Web Application Developer Senior
Job Description
Build and deliver enterprise-ready healthcare web applications as a senior web application developer in Birmingham, AL (onsite).
Responsibilities
- Partner with internal and external clients to define and meet data and application requirements
- Handle multiple projects at once, maintaining project tracking mechanisms, deliverable dates, and documentation
- Translate customer feedback into UX designs and wireframes that can be implemented as functional web applications
- Perform UI development using JavaScript technologies
- Coordinate development requests and align priorities across teams
- Train and mentor staff on User Interface Design, JavaScript Frameworks, and complex interactions with Web Services and other backend technologies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of experience in design and development using JavaScript and JavaScript Frameworks
- Ability to create working prototypes
- Knowledge of UX design for web applications
- Strong understanding of HTML(5), CSS(3), and JavaScript Frameworks
- Understanding of model driven development such as ROR and Grails
- Excellent interpersonal skills for frequent interaction with various levels of internal and external staff

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Web Architecture
- 3-5 years of experience in design and/or development in a healthcare software environment
- Knowledge of UX Design for mobile and tablet applications
