Software Developer – Military Veteran

Dev10 is partnering with a leading pharmaceutical and healthcare organization in Indianapolis, Indiana to hire U.S. military veterans for Software Developer opportunities. This hybrid role begins with structured, paid immersive training before moving into a client assignment, with ongoing mentorship throughout the transition.

Training runs for approximately 3–4 months and is designed to build the technical foundation needed for the in-person work in Indianapolis. After successful completion, you will transition to the client opportunity while continuing to receive support from your Dev10 Manager.

What you’ll do

• Complete paid, immersive Software Developer training to prepare for your client assignment
• Build hands-on skills using Java, IntelliJ, MySQL, Spring, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST, and React
• Transition into the Software Developer role with the Indianapolis client after training
• Work with ongoing mentorship and support to help you adapt to the corporate environment and continue growing your career
• Receive guidance from your Dev10 Manager focused on corporate culture navigation and professional development

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Must be a U.S. military veteran
• Ability to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future
• Ability to work in person in Indianapolis, IN on a hybrid schedule
• Strong interest in Software Development and a mindset focused on learning
• Logic and reasoning skills

Compensation and benefits

• Paid training: approximately 3–4 months at $600/week
• Hands-on training and instruction from experienced engineers
• Client assignment in Indianapolis upon successful completion of training
• $24.04/hour (approximately $50,000 annually) once you transition to the client
• $2,500 relocation assistance if relocation is required
• Two years of client project experience
• Ongoing support from your Dev10 Manager to assist with corporate culture and growth
