Senior/Lead Software Developer

Trideum Corporation is hiring a Senior/Lead Software Developer for a high-visibility effort supporting the US Army Space and Missile Defense Command in Huntsville.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, modular software systems aligned with MOSA (Modular Open Systems Approach).
• Design and implement front-end user interfaces and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI).
• Build secure, efficient back-end services and APIs that support front-end functionality.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, UX designers, and other developers across the stack.
• Participate in architecture design, code reviews, sprint planning, and continuous integration.
• Support application robustness and maintainability with alignment to performance and security requirements.
• Contribute to user-centered design processes and promote software development best practices.
• Lead delivery by building and guiding a team of 3-4 developers to meet program requirements.
• Travel may be required occasionally for team collaboration, customer engagement, or system integration events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Demonstrated experience with MOSA principles and modular or component-based architectures.
• Experience in a DevSecOps environment, including secure coding practices, automated testing, and CI/CD integration.
• Experience developing modern front ends and integrating with complex back-end services.
• Proficiency with front-end frameworks: Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience building back-end services using Java, DotNet, C#, C++, Python, or similar languages.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, micro-services architecture, and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of software security principles, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.
• US citizenship with an active Secret security clearance is required.
