Annual salary: USD 75,000 - 100,000 per year
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications and APIs using the .NET stack (C#, ASP.NET Core, RESTful services).
- Architect and implement modern, responsive React interfaces (preferably with TypeScript) alongside HTML/CSS and current UI frameworks.
- Lead or contribute to cloud application architecture with Azure as the preferred platform (AWS acceptable), covering deployment patterns (App Services, containers, Kubernetes, serverless), secure networking and identity integrations, and considerations for performance, scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar) with automated builds, tests, linting, packaging, deployments, environment promotion dev/test/stage/prod, and release governance including rollback strategies.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code practices (Bicep/ARM, Terraform, or equivalent).
- Develop secure back-end services and integrations for ERP/manufacturing systems (SQL Server, APIs, data flows, authentication/authorization).
- Create and maintain technical documentation aligned to SDLC expectations (requirements, design specs, interface specs, test procedures, release notes).
- Collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, IT to gather requirements, plan releases, and deliver enhancements with minimal disruption.
- Ensure security best practices (secure coding, access control, secrets management, data protection) and support vulnerability remediation.
- Improve observability and maintainability through logging, monitoring, and performance diagnostics (Application Insights, cloud tools, structured logging).
- Participate in production support and issue resolution, including root cause analysis and preventative improvements.
- Mentor junior developers through code reviews, best practices, and technical decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, MIS, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
- 5+ years building and supporting web applications, with strong full‑stack capability or solid front-end plus back-end collaboration.
- Advanced proficiency in C# / .NET / ASP.NET Core.
- Proficient with SQL Server (querying, basic performance tuning, stored procedures as applicable).
- Strong experience with React, UI engineering skills, and TypeScript preferred.
- Experience with Git workflows (branching, PRs, code reviews).
- Proven ability delivering cloud-based solutions (Azure or AWS), including deployment and operations considerations.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid understanding of secure software development practices, including authentication/authorization and secure API design.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing or enterprise environment with cross-functional stakeholders and production deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills with a track record of delivering reliable software.
