Job Description

The Server Software Developer role at CACI places you on the FADE team in Denver, CO as a Cloud Software Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining AWS-based software to support intelligence analysis in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute as a software engineer to a complex, evolving system with a rapidly expanding user base.
  • Be part of a collaborative engineering team covering all facets of agile software development.
  • Propose and implement new capabilities, resolve operational issues, and collaborate with a range of team members and end users to ensure the solution meets user needs.
  • The FADE team develops capabilities that advance intelligence analysis tradecraft and warfighter support.
  • Collaborate with operational users to design, develop, and maintain capabilities that empower analysts to fuse data from multiple intelligence sources, enabling assessment, monitoring, and alerting in support of vital national security missions.
  • FADE's platform is developed and deployed on AWS cloud environments and on edge devices to best support users where they operate.

Qualifications

Required:

  • U.S. citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance, preferably with a recent polygraph.
  • Three or more years of experience as a software engineer or in a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science, or 5+ years of related technical experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Evidence of software engineering experience, clearly defined technical strengths and areas of interest, and the value you would bring to the team.
  • Understanding of programming principles, including object oriented design and the use of design patterns.
  • Willingness to learn current technologies and pursue continuous improvement.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and a readiness to contribute unique knowledge and experience.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively, escalate issues when needed, and promote best practices.
  • Ability to collaborate, solve problems, and discuss proof of technology.

Desired:

  • Server-side containerization technologies such as Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, and Spring Boot or similar.
  • Experience with Java, SQL, and Git.
  • Server-side data technologies including Postgres, Elasticsearch, Kafka, and Redis.
  • DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Nexus, and SonarQube.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies, processes, and techniques.
  • Proficiency with Linux and Windows environments.
  • Ability to articulate thoughts on team dynamics and what makes teams successful.
  • Experience guiding technical projects from design to production, including challenges faced and responses.
  • Experience with government contracting, prior or current military service, and customer-facing roles.
  • Experience preparing and presenting designs to customers and stakeholders.

Pay Range

The proposed salary range for this position is USD 69,600 - 142,700 per year.
