Senior Software Engineer

Work on technology that supports the consumer credit lifecycle, partnering with borrowers and financial stakeholders while owning production-grade outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable systems used by millions of borrowers and financial partners
• Help shape architecture and contribute to technical roadmap decisions
• Own substantial projects end to end, from problem definition through implementation and iteration
• Build products and infrastructure spanning consumer experiences, AI, financial operations, compliance, and client-facing platforms
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Operations to deliver meaningful outcomes
• Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering standards and team processes
• Lead or contribute to large-scale migrations and significant architectural changes

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong technical depth and experience building production systems at scale
• Hands-on experience with Python, React, Postgres, and AWS
• Strong computer science or software engineering foundation through education and/or substantial professional experience
• Product-oriented mindset and ability to connect engineering decisions to user and business impact
• Demonstrated individual ownership and impact beyond narrowly defined tasks
• Clear technical depth or specialization, with ability to work across systems when needed
• Strong written communication and comfort with a writing-first engineering culture
• Ability to challenge assumptions, push back constructively, and participate in technical debate
• Experience in startups, high-growth companies, or technically demanding environments is valuable
• Meaningful production experience applying AI in engineering workflows (not just listing AI tools) is valuable
• Evidence of increasing scope, responsibility, or impact over the career is a plus

Compensation

• Base salary: USD 210,250–243,525 per year
• Equity: Included (base + equity)
