Senior .NET Core Developer

Senior .NET Core Developer role in New York with hybrid work setup, focused on modernizing and deploying enterprise applications on .NET 8 with a planned migration to .NET 10.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and modernize enterprise applications using .NET 8/10, C#, and ASP.NET Core.
• Design, build, and support secure RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Collaborate on frontend and backend development as needed to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Deploy and manage applications on Azure App Services.
• Configure and troubleshoot Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD deployments.
• Maintain environment-specific configurations across development, UAT, and production environments.
• Integrate applications with internal and external systems, including APIs, databases, and third-party platforms.
• Support logging, diagnostics, error handling, and production troubleshooting.
• Partner with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver reliable solutions.
• Assist with migration efforts from older .NET Core versions to current and future-supported versions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, and .NET 8 or later.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Experience building both frontend and backend services.
• Solid knowledge of Azure App Services.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Repos and Pipelines.
• Experience with SQL Server, stored procedures, data access layers, and application configuration.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and production support skills.
• Prior experience in the insurance industry is required.
• Ability to work independently and deliver clean, maintainable, well-documented code.
