Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, test, and debug software applications primarily in C++
  • Develop and maintain modeling and simulation software using industry best practices
  • Contribute to the architecture and design of new software features
  • Deliver clear, concise, and well documented code
  • Collaborate effectively with teammates in a fast paced, agile environment
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects
  • Deploy and maintain applications on Windows and Linux platforms
  • Contribute to test plan development and execute testing procedures
  • Stay current with evolving technologies and trends in software development

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in software development using C++
  • Strong experience with modeling and simulation principles and techniques
  • Proficiency in building applications for both Windows and Linux
  • Solid understanding of object oriented programming and design patterns
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility
